Who am I?
Hi, I’m Amanda – founder of Nutrition Unpacked and your trusted companion on the journey to better health.
Let’s get one thing straight: I’m real. You won’t find me pretending I live on lettuce and ice cubes or bouncing out of bed every morning excited to hit the gym. Like you, I have my good days and my off days. I’ve struggled with discipline, motivation, and my fair share of health issues from being severely overweight to facing pre-diabetes, fatty liver disease, yo-yo dieting, and chronic fatigue.
That’s exactly why I do what I do. Because I get it.
I know how confusing nutrition can be, one day carbs are bad, the next they’re essential. Trying to separate real science from clever marketing felt like cracking a secret code. But through my own health journey, I discovered a passion for understanding how food truly impacts the body and mind.
I decided to dive deeper, studying Nutrition at Torrens University, where I graduated with a Diploma in Nutrition. Today, I combine science with real-life experience to give you practical, honest guidance that fits into your life.
My approach is simple: education and empowerment.
